Common Jewelry Repair Questions
We believe in honest answers and no-pressure service—here’s how we work.
Do I need an appointment to get a repair?
No appointment needed. Walk in anytime during business hours. We’re open Tuesday through Saturday and happy to offer a free estimate while you wait.
Can I see what’s wrong with my jewelry?
Yes! We use a microscope connected to a TV screen so you can view the issue in real time—whether it’s a broken prong or chipped stone. No mystery repairs here.
What does a typical repair cost?
Most repairs fall between $35–$200+, depending on complexity. We always provide free estimates first, with clear, upfront communication—no surprise fees.
Who does the repairs—do you send them out?
All work is done in-house by Tony Gonnella, a third-generation jeweler with over 20 years of experience. Nothing leaves our shop unless you take it home.
What kinds of items do you repair?
We work on rings, chains, antique pieces, watches, and more. Whether it’s an heirloom or a modern piece, we treat it with care and precision.
Do you clean or inspect jewelry too?
Yes. We offer professional cleaning, grading, and inspection. These are especially useful before repairs or appraisals—and help preserve your jewelry’s lifespan.
Do you offer appraisals and buying services?
We do. We provide formal appraisals with photos, and we buy coins, precious metals, and jewelry on-site. Quotes are honest, clear, and never high-pressure.
Where exactly are you located?
You’ll find us in Suite 6 at Gettysburg Village Drive—just past the Adidas outlet. Note: our Google pin sometimes shows the food court. We’re correcting that now.
Still have questions? We’re happy to help—stop in, call us, or send a message for fast, honest answers from a jeweler you can trust.
